StockMarketEye offers what I need and I look forward of new upgrades.the APP great complement but is far behind of the computer version. ![]() I wanted something simple, easy but complete to watch my portfolios fast and in real time. I would like to be able to chart the overall performance of my portfolio, and display it in comparison with indices, moving averages, etc.Ĭomentarios: I'm a portfolio manager with 20 plus years of experience, and I use Bloomberg for many years. So, user created/defined views would be great.Ģ. Currently, I'm finessing this by creating duplicate watchlists for each view I'd like, but that is a pain if I add, delete, or change entries in a portfolio. I would really like to create as many views as I want for each portfolio or watchlist (e.g. Currently, there are two views on portfolios: Prices and Fundamentals. All in all, though, I find the tool solid, reliable, and well-designed.ġ. It does provide a very useful range of fundamental metrics and ratios through the "Configure Columns" command, although the command is hard to access (you need to right click on the column header). The user interface is simple and intuitive, for the most part. Nothing is worse than sitting down to check your portfolio and finding your tool is offline. It is reliable which is the main reason I switched from my other tool. If you could add the two features I listed under cons, I would be very happy. Would also be nice to be able to see what the current stock market averages are doing.Ĭomentarios: I'm enjoying the tool, and it beats what I've used before. It would be nice if that could be done in StockMarketEye instead of with a calculator and entered manually. When you add new stock purchases of the same stock you already have and are watching, you must take the original price of the first stocks and the new higher or lower price of the added stock and find the exact average of your investment per stock. You have the ability to increase the number of stocks you have. It will then keep up with the fluctuations in the market for that stock. Its easy to enter new stocks and even put in the price you paid for the stock. You can monitor those stocks to see percentage of performance over a given time span and can invest in them at your discretion. It's not trustworthy and therefore fails overall to be software I would purchase again.Ĭomentarios: I think StockMarketEye is a great software for tracking a multitude of stocks and being able to see at a glance what a stock is doing. In short, the program lacks quite a bit as far as being accurate. ![]() The current dividend being paid by a company wasn't always accurate. I could not directly have the transactions imported into the software from Schwab. It fails to import transactions at times and you have to export transactions into a CSV file or other compatible file format at your brokerage, then import that file into StockMarketEye. I like it overall, but liking it doesn't mean I'd buy it again. It uses colors well and it has many features that can be modified to suit your particular needs. The software is intuitive and easy to use. They don't want to hear the truth about their product. I never cursed yet I was eventually refunded my money and told to go elsewhere. Comentarios: I complained to support a number of times about the software failing to be accurate, that is report what the data that Schwab had on file and maintain my cash balances accurately. ![]()
